Help Save the Furry Ones is a no kill cat shelter and registered not for profit charity run by volunteers. An advantage of adopting from a shelter as compared to a free kitten, is the initial cost. A responsible pet owner would want their new friend vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated which can cost between $300-$500. At Help Save the Furry Ones we charge an adoption fee of $165 which covers health check, desexing, first vaccination, microchipping, flea and worm treatment. Being a not for profit charity, this fee covers our vet fees. Please consider adoption first. All kittens are socialised and very friendly. Some come into our care from compromising situations. All are quarantined and vet checked and vet work completed before adopted. All these kitties want is a loving home and a family to call their own. There are many adult cats in foster homes until our new shelter is ready. All foster carers are available by appointment and some have several to choose from.
